Google Analytics Integration overview

Google Analytics Overview

Nanorep allows you to track your visitor's behavior and activity using the Google Analytics platform.

There are 2 ways to implement Google Analytics snippet:  synchronous and asynchronous. Currently, we only support the asynchronous snippets.

GA integration is enabled by your account manager and you will be able to see the results in your GA Dashboard within 24 hours of activation.

This section will describe the Nanorep events available for GA for tracking, the meaning and usage of each event.

Our goal is to allow maximum transparency and usability of the Nanorep framework to drive a better customer experience and ultimately value: BI, conversion increase and cost-reduction.

For instance, you will be able to segment your Google Analytics conversion rate (CR) funnel by the "Nanorep User Active" event to track the conversion rate increase brought in by Nanorep

These are the events exposed by Nanorep to Google Analytics:

Note: Google Analytics usually requires about 24 hours to list new events

Custom events

If you want to send additional/customizable events, you can use our events API to trigger custom functions, including GA sending sequences. Please find our Events API documentation below:

Nanorep Events API (Arcade and Modern)

Nanorep Events API (Slim)

If you use our Support Center, it is also possible to add custom events for visitor's interaction there. For example, you can track click events on navigation, escalations, articles feedback, etc. This is not a full list of possibilities, so if you want to see any other events not specified here in your GA dashboard, feel free to contact us anytime and we will do our best to assist you.
