How do I configure the widget to escalate to a customize page instead of the regular contact form?

  1. From within your Nanorep account, navigate to Settings => Widget.

  2. Click Personalize in the version of the Widget for which you want to make changes.
     
  3. You are now asked to specify for which Knowledge Base, URL or domain you are making this change.
     
  4. The Settings page for your Widget is displayed. Click the Advanced tab.
     
  5. In the Action on User Escalation field, select Open Custom URL from the drop-down list.
     
  6. Select from the options displayed:


    *   Ticket Escalation
    *   Chat Escalation
    *   Without Statistics Count
     
  7. In the Link URL field, enter the URL to which the Link Target (described below) should send the customer when they escalate a question.
     
  8. In the Link Target field, select the type of destination for the link URL.
    a.      Current page
    b.      New tab (default option)
    c.      Popup window
    d.      Inside widget
     
  9. In the Custom Link Popup field, you can specify the height and width of the popup that will be displayed.
     
  10. The change is shown in the display of how your widget will look, in the right-hand section of the page.  Click the Save changes button that is displayed, and then click OK. The change is made instantaneously on your website.
